Turkish automotive production, exports recover in February
Turkish automotive production, which started 2024 on a downward trend, recovered in February, rising 19.2% on-year to 133,396 vehicles. Passenger car production alone soared by 31.7% to 83,955 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Total and passenger car production in January were 108,483 and 67,059 units respectively.
Commercial vehicle production in February rose 2.6% on-year to 49,441 units.
