Turkish longs remain mostly stable, demand unsatisfactory
Turkish mills are keeping their long steel quotes mostly unchanged despite the slight correction seen in scrap prices recently.
On Thursday, Turkish mills’ official quotes stood at $590-600/tonne fob Turkey actual weight for rebar and $600-610/t fob for mesh-quality wire rod.
However, lower prices have been accepted by mills in sales. As the scrap price decline has come to an end, Turkish producers concluded some sales, although the total volume is limited.…
