Sluggish demand slashes Turkish pipe quotes further
Turkish pipe producers have further lowered the high end of the range for export quotes due to stagnant demand.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $720-750/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight. This is down from $720-770/t fob a week ago. However, prices in the low $700s are also available from some suppliers who are selling more aggressively.
