Turkish rebar producers miss out on Asian demand
Turkish rebar mills are seen struggling to sell in the global market amid high production costs and tough competition.
Although Asian demand has returned, no Turkish-origin rebar sales are heard in Asia, while United Arab Emirates, Qatari and Indian producers have sold to Hong Kong at much lower prices of $710-715/tonne cfr actual weight.
