Turkish scrap import rebound continues in May
Turkish scrap imports increased 10% on-year in May to 1.81 million tonnes, a second consecutive monthly increase following seven consecutive months of decline until April. Their average value was $325/tonne versus $366/t in May 2018, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
