Turkish tariff reduction weighs on US rebar prices
US rebar prices continue to hold the line while changes in trade regulations are expected to roil the market, Kallanish reports.
The US reduced tariffs on Turkish steel imports from 50% to 25% last week. The effects have not shown up in pricing yet, but industry sources expect to see a ripple through the domestic market in coming weeks.
