Domestic wire rod prices have surfaced in the United Arab Emirates.
The benchmark mill settled its August-delivery 6.5-14mm diameter AISI/SAE 1006-1008 grade wire rod quotes in the domestic market at AED 2,284/tonne ($622/t) ex-mill, Kallanish learns from market sources. The company charges for grade AISI/SAE 1005 and 5.5mm dia an extra AED 35/t and AED 36.75/t, respectively.
