UAW members strike at 14 John Deere facilities
Over 10,000 members of the United Auto Workers union are on strike at 14 John Deere facilities across the US after the two sides failed to reach an agreement on contract negotiations.
Wages, retirement benefits, and fair work rules are cited by the UAW as reasons for the strike. No timeline has been given by either side as to when a labour agreement may be reached, Kallanish understands.
