Ukraine pipemakers increase production, fret over energy costs
Ukraine’s pipe enterprises increased production in 2021, says national pipemakers’ association Ukrtruboprom.
Volume amounted to 710,500 tonnes, up by 32.6% on-year, Kallanish notes. In particular, Interpipe Niko Tube doubled its pipe production last year and Turbostal rose by 14.7%. However, Centravis decreased production by 2.2% and Interpipe NMPP by 24.3%.
The Dnepropetrovsk Pipe Plant meanwhile continues to be idle.
