Universal Stainless improves quarterly profitability
Bridgeville, Pennsylvania-based Universal Stainless & Alloy Products is reporting improved earnings results in both an on-quarter and on-year comparison during the first quarter of 2023. Kallanish notes that the company’s premium alloy sales hit a new record high of $17.7 million, an increase of nearly one-fourth above last quarter’s record sales and an almost 100% increase on-year.
