Unsolicited ex-China billet offers shower GCC market
Rebar re-rollers in the Gulf Cooperation Council have been receiving numerous unsolicited offers of China-origin billet from traders since the beginning of the week.
The quotes, for 0.5-0.7% manganese content 130/150mm 3sp rebar-grade billet, mainly for May shipment, are prevailing at $500-510/tonne cfr Dammam, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Oman ports (free out).
