US adds 2 rigs, Canada loses 7
The US increased its rig count by two and Canada decreased its rigs by seven for the week ended 23 November, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The total US count for the week is 784, an increase of 215 from the equivalent period last year. Of the total, 627 are for oil and 155 are for gas. On-week, this is an increase of four oil rigs and a decrease of two gas rigs.
