US, Canada both add rigs in latest count
The US added seven new rigs to its total count of 740 this week, ending 17 June. This same week, Canada’s rig count increased by 15, bringing the total count up to 156 rigs, Kallanish learns from energy service company Baker Hughes.
Since 18 June, 2021, both Canada and the US have increased rig totals. This week, the US is up 270 and Canada is up 39.
