US construction employment moves up in October
US construction employment rose in a majority of US metro areas in October, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contractors of America.
From October 2018 to October 2019, US construction employment increased in 231 of the 358 metro areas polled by the association.
The Dallas-Plano-Irving, Texas, corridor posted the largest increase with 14,300 jobs – a gain of 10%. New York City saw the largest decrease with 6,200 jobs, or -4%.
