US construction employment rises in 37 states
US construction employment increased in 37 of the 50 states on-year in February, though just 16 states added construction jobs from January to February, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contracts of America.
Texas led the on-year net gains with 22,7000 jobs, an increase of 3.1%. Louisiana led the net losses with 5,500 jobs, or -3.7%.
