US construction jobs grow in September
US construction employment rose both on-month and on-year in a majority of the 50 US states in September, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contractors of America.
US construction employment rose in 28 states from August to September and in 39 states from September 2018 to September 2019.
Texas led the notable gains by state on-year with 52,000 jobs, and increase of 7%. Louisiana led the state losses with 10,600 jobs, or a loss of -7%.
