US longs imports fall in 2019
Year-to-date through March US imports of long products continue to perform below volumes for the same period in 2018, Kallanish reports.
Figures provided by the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) show that of the top five trading partners in long products, only Italy has seen an increase in volume to 94,030 tonnes. The US imported 11,300t from Italy in 2018.
