US long steel exports hit 10-month low
Long steel exports from the US fell to their lowest level seen in the past 10 months during September, Kallanish learns from the latest data supplied by US Department of Commerce.
According to Commerce's data, monthly long steel exports from the US fell by nearly 10,000 tonnes during September to a total of 137,204t. Most long steel exported from the US over the month was shipped to Canada (78,633t), followed by Mexico (47,462t).
