Monthly imports of long steel products to the US fell during February, Kallanish learns from the latest data collected by the US Department of Commerce.
Preliminary long steel imports to the US fell by nearly 50,000 tonnes in February to a total of 370,080t for the month. The leading countries-of-origin were Canada (94,600t), Mexico (65,205t), Algeria (50,522t), South Korea (36,254t), and China (30,336t).
