US metro construction employment rises in March
US construction employment increased in 61% of US metro areas from March 2018 to March 2019, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contractors of America.
Employment rose in 218 of 358 metros polled by the association, while employment fell in 83 – or 23% - of polled areas and was unchanged in 57, or 16%.
The Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, Arizona, corridor posted the largest single increase with 13,800 jobs, or an increase of 11%. The largest decrease…
