US rig count declines by 2, Canada gains
The number of active oil and gas rigs in the US has declined by two week-on-week, while Canada gained two, Kallanish learns from oil services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count dropped to 621 for the week ended 16 February. Of that total, 497 rigs are for oil and 121 are for gas. Three rigs are categorised as miscellaneous.
