US senators want tariffs on Ukraine steel removed
Two US senators are asking US President Joe Biden to lift the 232 tariffs currently in place on steel imports from Ukraine. The tariffs have been in effect for four years.
US Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Patrick Toomey (R-PA) sent a letter to President Biden this week asking him to remove the 25% tariffs on Ukrainian steel “to help it eventually stabilse and rebuild its economy.”
