US Steel lays off IT workers in restructuring
US Steel is cutting 105 information technology (IT) jobs, Kallanish learns from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based steelmaker.
“These decisions are never easy, and we are deeply grateful to those employees who will be leaving US Steel. Our focus is on treating our colleagues with dignity and respect during this transition and as they exit the organization in the weeks and months ahead,” says US Steel media relations manager Amanda Malkowski.
