Usiminas consolidation supports Ternium's higher third-quarter results
Latin American miner and steel producer Ternium saw its sales volume rise during the third quarter. The improvement resulted mainly from the full consolidation of Usiminas into its statements in the period, Kallanish notes.
The company, however, anticipates a fall in Ebitda in the fourth quarter. The decrease will come because of lesser revenue due to expected low realised prices in Mexico and Brazil. Slightly higher steel shipments will partially offset the fall.…
