Vale begins Conceição’s Dike 1A dam decommissioning
Brazilian miner Vale has begun the decommissioning of its Dike 1A upstream dam at the Conceição mine in Itabira, Kallanish learns from the miner. Works are expected to be completed by December. This will be the 13th of Vale’s 30 structures of this kind to be removed.
