Vale Oman output rebounds on pellet feed availability
Vale’s Oman-based iron ore pelletising plant saw production fall 7% on-year in the second quarter to 2.3 million tonnes, although this was up 119% on Q1 thanks to seasonally higher pellet feed availability, the Brazilian miner says.
The group’s higher pellet feed availability was mainly directed to the Oman plant in the quarter, Vale observes.
