Vale to deploy battery-powered locomotives, test ammonia fuel
Mining giant Vale is acquiring three battery-powered locomotives and will participate in experimentation with ammonia as a fuel for the purposes of decarbonising the company’s transport of iron ore, Kallanish understands.
