Vale to share BHP liability in Samarco lawsuit
The UK Court of Appeal has rejected arguments by Brazil’s Vale against being included in a class action lawsuit in England over the Samarco dam burst.
The incident killed 19 people and flooded areas in two states of southeastern Brazil on 5 November 2015, destroying communities and contaminating navigable waterways.
