Vale advances Capanema iron ore mining project
Brazil’s Vale says it has received all necessary licences to begin construction of its Capanema iron ore mining project, Kallanish notes.
The plan involves the Minas Gerais municipalities of Santa Bárbara, Ouro Preto and Itabirito.
“The project includes investments in the Capanema mine to resume facilities and acquire new equipment, implement a long-distance belt conveyor (TCLD) and adjustments in the Timbopeba stockyards,” Vale explains.…
