Vale’s iron ore exports rise on-year in January
Brazilian miner Vale’s iron ore exports rose in January, according to Sindicato Nacional da Indústria da Extração de Ferro e Metais Básicos (Sinferbase) data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports totalled 21.16 million tonnes, 20.2% higher compared to the volume of 17.59mt shipped by the miner in the corresponding period of 2020, but 4.02mt less on-month.
