Voestalpine eyes green steel production with EU patent
Voestalpine has patented a technology for the production of steel using green hydrogen and biogas in the direct reduction process, the company says.
The steelmaker has already received the corresponding patent for the production technology from the European Patent Office and this will be valid in all major European steel manufacturing countries.
