Voestalpine ensures slab stock for blast furnace reline
Voestalpine says it has sufficient inventory of slab to cover the upcoming production outage during the reline of a blast furnace starting in August.
“After building up a stock of slabs in the necessary quantity and quality for the subsequent rolling stages, deliveries [of finished product] will continue during the reline period as normal,” voestalpine tells Kallanish upon request.
