Waupaca Foundry acquired by capital investment firm
Monomoy Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Waupaca Foundry, North America's leading supplier of cast and machined iron castings, from Tokyo, Japan-based international industrial materials producer Proterial. Kallanish notes that Waupaca Foundry's operations include six iron foundries, primarily in Wisconsin, and boast a production capacity of 1.4 million short tons of iron castings per year.
