Zaporizhkoks coke output declines due to coal shortages
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, decreased production of blast furnace coke in 2021, following coal shortages, the company says.
Last year, the plant’s coke output amounted to 837,200 tonnes, down by 8.1% on-year, Kallanish notes. In December alone production was 66,600t, less by 0.4%.
