Zaporizhkoks reduces February coke output sequentially, rises on-year
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, decreased production of blast furnace coke in February compared to the previous month, the company says. Output amounted to 69,500 tonnes, down by 2.5% on-month, but was 6% more on-year, Kallanish notes.
The plant’s output in January was less by 2% on-year to 71,300t.
January-February production of blast furnace coke thus rose 1.7% on-year to 140,300t.
