Zenith plans to build EAF in Nantong
Zenith's subsidiary Zhongtian Nantong plans to build one electric arc furnace to replace two existing convectors from Wuxi Xinsanzhou Special Steel, according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
Kallanish notes this firm is going to construct one 100-tonne EAF with 750,000 t/y approved production capacity in June 2024. The furnace is expected to be commissioned in April 2025.
