BMW Group starts construction of a new battery logistics centre at Leipzig
BMW Group has started construction of a logistics centre for the fifth-generation high-voltage batteries used in its electric car models, Kallanish learns from the German carmaker.
The so-called Supply Centre North will be built on a leased land area outside the Plant Leipzig premises, in northern Germany. The new 12-hectare site will house a logistics hall and office building, although storage capacity and other technical details have not been revealed.
