BYD studies feasibility prospects for a Mexican plant
Chinese carmaker BYD has reportedly started feasibility studies for a manufacturing plant in Mexico, boosting its international expansion drive in North America.
BYD Mexico manager Zhou Zou told the Nikkei that the company is currently negotiating with national and local governments over a location and other terms. Without indicating potential site locations, he added Mexico is a key market with vast potential.
