COPPER: Mexico's January refined production rises, ore falls
Mexican refined copper production rose month-on-month in January. Copper ore extraction, however, decelerated compared to December 2021, Kallanish learns from the latest report issued by local statistics institute Inegi.
According to the data, the country produced 38,560 tonnes of refined copper during the month. This was 4.6% more than in the previous month, but 1.8% lower when compared to the 39,268 t in January 2021.
