COPPER: Mexico's refined, ore production decrease in December
Mexican refined copper production fell month-on-month in December 2021. Copper ore extraction also decelerated compared to November although only slightly, Kallanish learns from the latest report issued by local statistics institute Inegi.
According to the data, the country produced 36,861 tonnes of refined copper during the month. This was 7% less than in the previous month and 8.2% lower when compared to the 40,142 t in December 2020.
