Eramet in talks with European OEMs for Argentine lithium offtake deals
French mining company Eramet is working on potential deals with European carmakers to raise financing for its lithium production project in Argentina.
Chief executive Christel Bories is quoted by Reuters as saying the company is holding discussions with a number of OEMs seeking potential commercial agreements. These could be joint marketing or offtake contracts, she suggests, without disclosing specifics.
