EU approves €5.4 billion funding for hydrogen industry
The European Commission cleared on Friday a public funding package of up to €5.40 billion ($5.44 billion) for 41 hydrogen-related projects in the bloc, Kallanish reports.
The Important Project of Common European Interest, dubbed as IPCEI Hy2Tech, was organised by 15 member states and includes 35 companies. It’s aimed at supporting research and innovation and first industrial deployment in the hydrogen technology value chain.
