EU, manufacturers commit to 25 GW/y electrolyser output by 2025
The European Commission (EC) has vowed to support 20 electrolyser manufacturers to increase their production capacity in the EU by 10-fold by 2025, Kallanish reports.
The parties signed on 5 May a joint declaration, under which industry pledges to expand the current electrolyser manufacturing capacity to 25 gigawatts (GW) by 2025 and install further increases by 2030.
