French charging infrastructure gains momentum despite summer holiday
France’s public EV charging infrastructure grew by over 3,000 new chargers in July, defying the slower deployment pace seen in the first half of the year, Kallanish learns.
According to the domestic e-mobility association Avere-France, the public charging network jumped by 56.3% on-year in January-July to 104,723 units. This means an average of 155 charging points per 100,000 citizens. As of 31 July 2022, France had 66,960 chargers in operation.
