Germany’s BEV sales increase 23.9% in January
Germany’s new all-electric car (BEV) market started the year with a 23.9% growth in January, with 22,474 units entering its car parc, Kallanish reports.
According to data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), January’s BEV market share was 10.5%, which is virtually in line with the powertrain penetration a year earlier. However, in January 2023, new BEV registrations were down 13.2% year-on-year.
