HRS partners with Beyond Aero for hydrogen-powered aircraft
France’s Hydrogen Refuelling Stations (HRS) is partnering with aircraft producer Beyond Aero to develop the hydrogen infrastructure of a low-emission plane -- the first French aircraft of this kind.
While the firms may also develop a commercial collaboration, the aircraft will be equipped with a fuel cell system produced by Beyond Aero. The firms are developing a four to eight-passenger plane with a hydrogen propulsion system and a range of 800 miles.
