LITHIUM: E3 Metals hires engineering firm to design field pilot plant
E3 Metals says it has engaged an engineering firm to begin the design work for its field pilot plant to test its proprietary sorbent and ion-exchange direct lithium extraction process to get lithium from brine in Alberta, Kallanish reports.
The design work and final cost estimate are expected to be completed within six months with construction to follow shortly after that, E3 says. It says it plans to operate the pilot plant for at least six months to collect data…
