PALLADIUM, COPPER: Gen Mining, Wheaton Resources streaming deal closes
Generation Mining Ltd is getting CAD 240 million ($187.1m) from Wheaton Precious Metals with the initial proceeds from the streaming deal funding construction of the Marathon palladium-copper project in northwest Ontario, Kallanish reports.
Under the agreement, Wheaton will pay subsidiary Generation PGM Inc the CAD 240m in exchange for a stream on all gold production and 22% of the platinum production from the developing Marathon project.
