Portugal announces green hydrogen corridor with Netherlands
Shell, Engie, Vopak and Anthony Veder have formalised an agreement to develop a green hydrogen corridor between Portugal and the Netherlands, Kallanish reports.
The consortium, alongside supporting partners REN, Port of Sines, Port of Rotterdam, Gasunie, and ABN AMRO, plan to develop a value chain for liquid hydrogen from the Port of Sines to the Port of Rotterdam. First shipments under the H2Sines.RDAM project are expected by 2028.
