Rosatom to launch Sakhalin hydrogen plant in 2029
Russian state-owned nuclear corporation Rosatom plans to launch a hydrogen production plant on Sakhalin Island in 2029, the vice president of Rusatom Overseas JSC, Anton Moskvin, told the Federation Council – the upper house of the Russian parliament.
The plant’s capacity can be up to 36,500 tonnes/year of blue hydrogen, Kallanish notes.
